Farmer’s Market

The Jacksonport Farmers Market began fifteen years ago in Lakeside Park with twelve local vendors and has seen steady growth over the years. As per the State Market Permit, it is open to Door County residents and will be held every Tuesday morning through October 18 as weather permits. The market features 70% local farm produce and farm products and 30% locally handcrafted items. All vendors are Door County residents, so you know the source of their products.

The market features nearly 30 booths with many local produce growers with a wide variety of fresh garden fare each week. Fruits and vegetables vary with the season. Local craft vendors show a nice variety of quality work.

The market also features locally made breads, cookies and other tasty desserts to please every shopper. Local honey and maple syrup are also available. You’ll find a great variety of jams, jellies, meat and fresh boneless whitefish fillets, smoked fish, cheese and cheese curds, eggs, honey, cut flowers, hand-made soaps, plants and many interesting gifts and items for the home.

Music will be offered at some of our Market Tuesdays. The Birch Creek Jazz Band will perform several times. As the season warms up other featured local musicians will be announced. Mary Pat and Mark Carlson will provide Grab and Go food options and beverages for us this year. Pinky Promise Coffee will provide a nice variety of coffees.

Come meet your friends and neighbors and enjoy your morning at Lakeside Park at the Jacksonport Farmers Market. It’s a great opportunity for you and your family and guests to patronize local businesses while you’re right here in Jacksonport. We appreciate your support!

The Jacksonport Farmer’s Market is sponsored by JABA, the Jacksonport Area Business Association.
