Easter Egg Hunt to be held at Lakeside Park on Saturday, April 8 at 10 A.M
The Jacksonport Business Association is again pleased to sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt in Lakeside Park in downtown Jacksonport again this year.
We hope for a beautiful spring day to welcome families and children to Lakeside Park in Jacksonport at the corner of Highway 57 and County Highway V.
People are advised to register near the back covered shelter beginning at 10 a.m. at the registration table. Note the updated time change for this event! After registration children will be able to play on the toys prior to the egg hunt. It’s a nice time to see and visit with friends and neighbors. We are pleased to welcome Lynn Thorpe, Clark Lake, who will be back to do free face painting while time allows. The Easter Bunny will be there to mingle with the crowd for picture taking. A rope barrier will be visible past the toy area where children will be instructed to line up prior to the hunt which will begin at 10:30 a.m. The Egg Hunt is only for children from ages 3 to 10, please. Each child be will instructed to find three eggs. Children will return the eggs to an area near the Upper Shelter where they will be invited to pick out three prizes.
Miss Door County and Miss Teen Door County will make an appearance as an added highlight to our event this year.
This annual event is free but a donation box will be at the registration table for those who wish to make a donation. The Jacksonport Business Association represents most of the businesses in and around the Jacksonport area and proudly volunteers for and sponsors Jacksonport area events. New volunteers are always welcome.
