To give you a general idea of what happens at Maifest, below is a sample Maifest schedule of events. Last year's schedule, including times and activities, can be found by downloading the 2009 Maifest Schedule from the link above. The 2010 schedule will be posted here in late Spring.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Maifest softball tournament games will take place Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night leading up to Maifest at the ball park on County V. Games start at 6:30 PM each night.

SATURDAY

LAKESIDE PARK

8:00 AM Concession Stand opens - brats, hot dogs, snacks & drinks available

8:00 AM Women’s Club stand opens - funnel cake, cookies, pie, ice cream, kolaches & beverages

9:00 AM Maifest Juried Art Fair - featuring 100 artists from around the Midwest

10:30 AM Jacksonport Maifest Parade - on Hwy 57 through Jacksonport. Memorial Day

presentation of the flag by V.F.W. Post 3088 immediately following the parade.

11:30 AM Traditional Door County Fish Boil and Corn Roast

MAIFEST MIDWAY (in Lakeside Park)

11:30 AM - 4:00 PM Inflatable activities open, including a variety of fun inflatable adventures

12:00 PM - 4:00 PM Pony Rides / 4-H Horse & Pony Project

PERFORMANCE TENT (In Lakeside Park)

12:00 PM Awards Presentation - parade prizes and Jacksonport Advancement Corporation

12:00 PM Jerry Voelker & His Jolly Gents (following the awards presentation)

BALL PARK ON COUNTY V, ONE BLOCK WEST OF HWY 57

9:00 AM Men’s softball tournament games continue with the Championship game to be held
